When Covid-19 came along, we had one question — can we help?

The founder’s experience in analyzing large financial datasets was applied to the growing NIH Covid-19 database.

He began the project in early May 2020. By June, he had a working model for high throughput analysis of the entire range of NIH databases.

That model was first run against the major groups in the NIH databases.

That same model was then run against the entire Covid-19 database.

Once all of the software was in place it only took 48 hours of processing time to create 36 potential Covid-19 vaccine candidates.

Flood Biotech has several main projects. Some are in partial development, some are just projects we would like to do.

• Our Covid-19 research is ongoing.
• The Tree of Life is a large interrelated genetic database.
• The FLŌD Database tracks real-time connections between diseases.
• And our prototype patent development project focuses on solutions to individual diseases.

Our goals include creating a library of low-cost patents which can be easily licensed by pharmaceutical companies; a super-computing environment for real-time tracking of diseases; modeling of new diseases and viral mutations; and building the Tree of Life inter-relational database.
